Sketch
William Walker
Ayer, Jr., b. 1923, attended McNeese Junior College
from 1940 to1941 and in 1946 before transferring to LSU.
Ayer was a member of the football team and played a
part in “Clarence,” a comedy performed by the MJC
Dramatics Department. During World War II, Ayer served
as a B-26 Marauder and an A-26 Invader Medium Bomber
Pilot in Europe.

Content Note
The collection
consists of Contraband (newspaper) clippings
from Ayer’s years at MJC (1940-1941) and an MJC
football sweater (1940).
